I have a Logitech K Wireless Combo and have raised this issue with Logitech for further investigation.

Now the numlock key is on at startup and the registry key remains at 2. I guess this will work until the next update :. Ah ha…! I found a permanent fix which will work for anyone! Stick some duck tape over the Num-Lock key!!!
